Ingredients
1 cup fresh lemon balm leaves (or 2 tablespoons dried)
4 cups water
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey (optional)
0.5 teaspoon grated ginger
Lemon slices and mint leaves, for garnish
Instructions
1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Turn off the heat and add the lemon balm leaves and grated ginger.
2. Cover and let it steep for 10 minutes to release the flavors.
3. Strain the infusion into a pitcher.
4. Add lemon juice and honey (if using), stirring until well combined.
5. Pour into glasses over ice cubes.
6. Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves for a refreshing touch.
7. Enjoy immediately for maximum benefits.
Notes
For a stronger flavor, let the lemon balm leaves steep longer.
Dried lemon balm works just as well if fresh leaves are unavailable.
Adjust the honey to taste, or omit for a completely sugar-free option.
