At EasyMadeEats.com, your privacy matters. This page explains what information is collected when you visit our website, why, by whom, and the choices you have. No confusing jargon, just clear facts.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information you send us

If you email us, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, your email address and the content of your message. We use them only to reply to you. We do not run a newsletter, user accounts or a comment section.

b. Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, technical information is processed automatically: your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you view and the time of your visit. Part of it is processed by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the site, and part by Google services used for analytics and advertising (see sections 3 and 4).

2. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Our own pages do not set any cookie. The cookies used on this site are set by Google:

Google AdSense (advertising): measures ad performance, limits repeated ads and, where allowed, shows ads based on your interests.
Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager (audience measurement): counts visits and shows how pages are used, for example which recipes are read most. Cookies such as _ga are used for this purpose.

Google Tag Manager itself only loads these tools and does not set its own advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. The site keeps working without them.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense)

We show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can turn off personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info. 4. Analytics (Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve our recipes and pages. Google Analytics reports are aggregated and we do not use them to identify you. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

5. Hosting and Security (Cloudflare)

This website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. To serve pages quickly and protect the site against abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser information and request logs. Learn more in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google servers to download them.

6. Links to Other Websites

We sometimes link to other websites, such as Pinterest or the sources cited in our articles. Once you leave EasyMadeEats.com, those sites operate under their own privacy policies. Our Pinterest buttons are simple links and do not load Pinterest scripts on our pages.

7. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you
ask us to correct or delete it
object to or restrict certain uses, including advertising cookies

The site is served over HTTPS only, and we keep the information you email us only as long as needed to answer you. No system is perfectly secure, but we follow industry practices to protect your data.
